Narrator: David Mclean, the VP of Sales and Marketing for Zurich's World Travel Protection, talks to ILSTv about WTP's new help point for travelers called Nomads. David McLean: World Travel Protection was founded in 1991, so we've been in existence nearly 20 years now as an emergency and medical travel and security assistance firm. Basically we provide assistance to those that are traveling for business or leisure, anywhere in the world. And that assistance could be as simple as helping people restore their credit cards and documents if they've lost their wallet; to helping them recover their passport if it's been stolen; to coming to their assistance in managing a medical situation in a remote region of the world where that person may not speak the language. Last year we served people in 154 countries; roughly 20000 medical cases were served. Basically over time we've seen that increasingly our corporate clients have had a need to respond to their employees who are traveling, to offer them more proactive assistance. So empowering those traveling employees with information relevant to the areas in which they've been asked to travel, so they're better able to cope with the potential risks inherent in those regions. To that end we've developed a new tool, it's a Zurich HelpPoint designed to help that traveler, help that organization, mitigate the risks associated with travel to those areas of the world.
